We are pleased to announce appointment of Natasha Schlichtkrull as a new Associate at Amberside Advisors.

Joining our Commercial Advisory team led by Mark Easter, Natasha will be focused on the continued development of our heat network projects throughout all commercialisation stages, as well as other local energy and net zero transition projects.

Natasha joins us after a period of advising 3Ci (Cities Commission for Climate Investment) and supporting on their net zero neighbourhood programme as a Climate Investment Advisor. Prior to that, Natasha worked for Gren Energy as an Investment Manager and was part of the team behind their successful acquisition of a 50% stake in South Clyde Energy Centre in Glasgow. A large part of her career was spent as an advisor in Arup across Energy and Business Advisory teams in Australia and the UK. She has worked across most energy technologies and has a deep passion for enabling energy decarbonisation and the net zero transition – through commercially sound models that consider the full range of benefits projects deliver to owners and society.

Upon her appointment, Natasha shared her enthusiasm, stating: ‘I’m thrilled to join Amberside Advisors to help grow the advisory offering and further impact the heat decarbonisation space. The UK is at an exciting point in its District Heating journey and Amberside Advisors has already played an impressive role in where we are today. I look forward to working with the great talent here and to support our clients across the industry and local authorities.’

Natasha holds a BSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a MSc in Global Energy Management from University of Strathclyde. Living in Edinburgh with her family, Natasha will work across the national portfolio of clients and projects, with a regular presence in our London office.

We are excited to have Natasha onboard and we wish her the best of luck in her new role.
