Alex Kostash

Alex Kostash is a Director at Amberside Advisors, bringing more than 20 years of experience in project and corporate finance across the energy transition, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. He has advised developers, investors, corporates and lenders on complex debt financings and transactions, with expertise spanning project finance, debt structuring, due diligence, negotiations and transaction execution.

At Amberside Advisors, Alex supports clients with financing strategy, debt raising and transaction execution. His experience in structuring and closing financings strengthens the firm's transaction advisory capabilities, helping clients secure funding for major capital projects and bring them successfully to market.

Prior to joining Amberside Advisors, Alex was a Director in Mizuho's Energy Transition & Advisory team, advising on the financing of energy and infrastructure projects. Earlier in his career, Alex held senior positions at UniCredit and Crédit Agricole CIB, where he originated and executed project finance debt and advisory mandates across the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. He also held roles at Deutsche Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He has extensive experience working on cross-border transactions and has built a strong network of relationships across the global financing market.

Alex holds an MBA from INSEAD and brings a unique combination of financing expertise, transaction execution experience and market insight to support clients through funding and delivery challenges across complex infrastructure and energy transition projects.
