Leon Smith

Leon is a Consultant at Amberside Advisors, having joined the firm as part of the 2026 Graduate Programme.

Leon supports Amberside's financial and commercial advisory work across the infrastructure, renewables and energy transition sectors. He brings experience from the international financial advisory and wealth management sector, having previously worked at Skybound Wealth. Earlier in his career, he also gained exposure to banking and financial services through internship roles with Citi, HSBC and Deloitte.

At Amberside Advisors, Leon is developing his capabilities in financial modelling, commercial analysis and transaction advisory while contributing to live client projects. Working alongside colleagues across the business, he is building experience in supporting strategic decision-making, investment appraisals and the delivery of complex infrastructure and energy transition projects.

Leon holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Leeds and spent a year studying at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. He is currently working towards the CIMA qualification as part of his professional development.
