Charlotte Slater

Charlotte Slater is a Manager in Amberside Advisors' Commercial Advisory team, bringing over a decade of experience across the energy sector, with expertise spanning decentralised energy, district heating, estate decarbonisation and ESG.

A mechanical engineer by training, Charlotte combines a strong technical foundation with commercial and strategic leadership experience. She supports public and private sector clients on the development and delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects, drawing on her experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, commercial strategy and business leadership.

Before joining Amberside Advisors, Charlotte built her career across leading energy, property and sustainability organisations. She began on ENGIE's graduate scheme before specialising in decentralised energy, including work on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park district heating project. She later moved into ESG-focused roles at CBRE, progressing to become part of the firm's UK ESG Senior Leadership team.

Charlotte holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Glasgow and brings a unique combination of engineering, commercial and ESG expertise to support clients in delivering sustainable, commercially viable energy solutions.
