Lorcan McAlindon

Lorcan has over a decade of experience in the district energy sector, specialising in the development and commercialisation of heat network and energy transition projects. His focus is on supporting projects as they move from business case through to development readiness, working closely with technical and commercial teams to deliver investable solutions.

Before joining Amberside Advisors as an Associate Director within the Commercial Advisory team, Lorcan was Project Director at 1Energy, where he led the £95m Milton Keynes Energy Network (MKEN) from origination towards construction readiness. He has also held senior roles at Equans UK & Ireland, Engie and Cofely UK (GDF Suez Group).

As part of Amberside Advisors’ Commercial Advisory team, Lorcan is focused on the development of heat network and wider energy transition projects, including waste heat recovery from data centres and emerging solutions such as onsite generation, private wire, district cooling, battery co-location, PPA structuring and addressing grid capacity challenges.
