Zaydaan Chowdhry

Zaydaan joined Amberside Advisors having graduated with a Bachelors degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge. Zaydaan has always been passionate about addressing national and global challenging issues (especially anthropogenic climate change) and is proud to be working on renewables projects and fostering the energy transition to net-zero at Amberside. A year prior to joining us, Zaydaan completed an internship as Product Analyst Intern at Transport Research Laboratory, where he had an opportunity to contribute to one of their flagship projects, which supported National Highways. Zaydaan also worked for a summer as a Credit Controller, where he developed skills of communicating with clients.

Since joining Amberside in one of its excellent financial modelling teams Zaydaan has worked on a variety of financial modelling projects, particularly enjoying his work on wind and solar farms, and heat networks. Zaydaan has worked on projects across a variety of countries so far, including the UK, France, and Canada.

Zaydaan is also doing the ACA qualification, where he is developing his accounting and other key skills, with the aim to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.

Outside of work, Zaydaan likes to stay active, going to the gym and travelling, and he’s a keen cricketer – he used to play for his university team and now he continues his passion playing at the Hertfordshire League for Pinner Cricket Club.
