Amberside Advisors' senior team gathers in Madrid for a strategic leadership offsite

Earlier this month, a group of Amberside Advisors’ senior colleagues travelled to Madrid for a Strategic Leadership Offsite focused on collaboration, leadership development and exploring the capabilities that will support the next phase of growth for the business.

The offsite formed part of Amberside Advisors’ continued investment in developing future leaders across the company, creating space for colleagues to step away from day-to-day project delivery and focus on longer-term thinking, team development and shared business priorities.

Across a series of workshops and discussions, the team explored leadership traits, communication approaches, personal working styles and the importance of building a strong and well-prepared leadership pipeline for the years ahead.

The visit also provided an opportunity to strengthen connections across the wider Steer Group following the recent opening of Steer’s Madrid office.

Sessions with colleagues including Antonio Beltran Arranz, Steer’s Spanish market lead, and Vianney from Evolution Infrastructure helped open wider conversations around collaboration opportunities across the Group’s advisory and transaction businesses.

Discussions focused particularly on the growing opportunities emerging across the energy transition and infrastructure investment landscape in Spain and wider European markets, and how Amberside Advisors can continue working closely with colleagues across Steer Group to support clients navigating complex investment and delivery challenges.

Alongside the workshop sessions, the team also had the opportunity to spend time together exploring Madrid and strengthening relationships outside the workplace, helping reinforce the collaborative culture that underpins the business.

Reflecting on the offsite, the team returned with fresh ideas, renewed energy and a clearer sense of the opportunities ahead, both for Amberside Advisors and for broader collaboration across the Steer Group.
