John joined Amberside in April 2018 after graduating from Royal Holloway University of London with an MMus in Ethnomusicology. John manages one of Amberside's modelling teams, combining leadership of modelling consultants with project managing different mandates. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).
He has worked on a range of infrastructure modelling mandates across different sectors including renewable energy asset portfolios, OFTO leases, smart meter modelling, and decentralised energy. This has included operational modelling, financial close support, audit and assurance, and model updates. John also works as part of the external client training team, delivering sessions on financial modelling and use of Excel to a range of audiences across Europe.
Outside of work, John enjoys playing in a local orchestra, video games, and watching and playing roller derby.
